Home Dialysis – In Partnership with VINITA Hospital
We’ve partnered with VINITA Hospital to offer home dialysis services for patients who require regular hemodialysis but prefer the comfort and privacy of their own home.
Our Home Dialysis Program Includes
Pre-Assessment: Evaluation of the patient’s medical condition and comorbidities (e.g., cardiac issues).
- Home Evaluation: Inspection of the home for power supply, plumbing, and water source compatibility.
- Consent & Safety: Family signs consent forms regarding cost, machine care, and emergency protocols.
- Setup: Installation of portable RO unit and dialysis machine after water quality checks.
- Treatment: Dialysis technicians visit for 4-hour sessions, 2–3 times per week, using sterilized, single-use disposables.
- Monitoring: Live data is shared with the nephrologist; monthly reviews are conducted in person and online.
- Bio-Waste Disposal: Family is instructed to follow biomedical disposal norms.
- Digital Health Records: Each dialysis session is documented in the EMR system, ensuring secure tracking, progress monitoring, and seamless communication with the nephrologist.

Home Dialysis
We have recently tied up with VINITA hospital for the Home Dialysis service, which encompasses the following:
- Assessment of patient’s health and comorbidities such as cardiac arrhythmia
- Assessment of home environment for the electrical connection, power supply and source of water supply.
- Family has to make arrangements for the same as advised by the team.
- Family has to sign the consent for home dialysis, concerning the cost, willingness to do dialysis at home and consent to move to the hospital in an ambulance during a state of emergency and taking good care of the machines left at their place.
- Water analysis will be done prior and after placing the portable RO and dialysis machine at the patient’s house.
- Portable RO and Hemodialysis Machine and dialysis supplies will be moved to the house and the family will be instructed to provide a safe place for the same, where no water spillage or other damages can occur
- Dialysis technicians will come with all the disposables and do the dialysis for 4 hrs , 2 or 3 times a week as advised by the Nephrologist. The data is shared live and also kept informed with the nephrologist for any changes to be made during the treatment.
- Monthly reviews by the nephrologist in person and online
- Family has to get the dialysis tubing disposed of as per the biomedical norms.
Finances
- Deposit : one lakh for the expensive machines that will be placed in their home.
- Water analysis charges, machine transportation charges, electrical and plumbing changes at home as needed will be borne by the family.
- Treatment charges - Rs 7500 per treatment. This covers the cost of the Technician who will spend 4 to 5 hrs, his/ her travel expenses, disposables as in dialyser and tubing, fistula needles, acid and base and all other disposables needed.
